Carmen La Spina the owner and founder began making brownies, and cakes some 21 years ago - in those days she mainly sold them from her Gourmet Deli. After selling the deli she continued making them but only for friends and family. Her Friends finally convinced Carmen to commercialise the recipes so after 2 years of research and studying with chefs and attending cooking schools the Fare Gourmet brand and product line was born.
Carmen decided very early on that she had to use the best ingredients and create mouth watering masterpieces and not a mass produced run of the mill product. Fare Gourmet products are not only handmade with passion and the finest ingredients but with the highest health and quality standards.
Many Fare Gourmet recipes and methods have been handed down from generations gone past. Carmen is a great granddaughter of James Stedman the man who brought Minties to Australia and started the Sweetacres empire, no wonder Carmen is now a passionate foodie.

Besides Fare Gourmet's Belgian Triple Chocolate Brownie their delicious range of products include Macadamia Brownie, Rum and Raisin Brownie, Classic Brownie, & a Gluten Free Brownie. They are all handmade from all natural products, no artificial flavours or colours.
Store in your pantry in an airtight container. If opened, wrap in foil or cling wrap.
May be refrigerated and can be frozen up to 6 months.
Fare Gourmet's Brownies are ready to eat, can be eaten straight from the pack at room temperature, can be refrigerated, or warmed slightly in a microwave. Can be turned into a fabulous dessert just add a scoop of ice-cream poor a chocolate sauce or ganache, decorate with fresh raspberries or seasonal berries.
