Joseph First Run EVOO 2012

We have just received the 2012 First Run Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Joe Grilli of Primo Estate, SA .

Made from olives harvested early in the season when the fruit is at the peak of its intensity, and when many of the olives are still green. After 20 years of olive harvests, Joe now has accesss to the 'pick of the crop' and blends great Italian varietals like Frantoio, Leccino and Pendolino wit the Greek Koroneiki.

The fruit has a lower yield when harvested early but the oil has a strong taste. The nose is fruit driven and has a fresh cut grass herbaceous lift, green olive fruit flavours and a wonderful peppery, spicy finish. The oil is bottled whilst still cloudy.

It is fresh seasonal produce at its best!

Available in 375ml and 750ml bottles.
