Cherry Bread & Butter Pudding

Try this sweet winter treat using our Brasserie Sour Cherry Loaf with cherries, currants & raisins - available from the Deli.
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 vanilla bean scraped
  • 1 Sour Cherry Loaf
  • berry jam & butter
  • 1 cup milk
  1. Spread thick slices of the Sour Cherry Loaf with jam and butter and layer in a gratin dish.
  2. Whisk together sugar, eggs and vanilla.
  3. Add milk and cream to the mix, whisk and pour over layered bread slices.
  4. Bake in a water bath at 160 deg. for about 30-40 min or until firm.
