Try this sweet winter treat using our Brasserie Sour Cherry Loaf with cherries, currants & raisins - available from the Deli. - 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup cream
- 1 vanilla bean scraped
- 1 Sour Cherry Loaf
- berry jam & butter
- 1 cup milk
- Spread thick slices of the Sour Cherry Loaf with jam and butter and layer in a gratin dish.
- Whisk together sugar, eggs and vanilla.
- Add milk and cream to the mix, whisk and pour over layered bread slices.
- Bake in a water bath at 160 deg. for about 30-40 min or until firm.
