Rockmelons

Rockmelons often have a green background with soft brown netting. Flesh is orange in colours with a sweet and smooth texture. Rockmelons are highly aromatic and uniformly round in shape.

How to store

Ripen at room temperature . Wrap cut melon in plastic and store in refrigerator.

How to cook

Dice rockmelon into cubes or slices and wrap with fresh prosciutto. Serve with grissini bread sticks as appetizer or party food.

Use as colourful ingredient in fruit salad or keep rockmelon cubes in a container for a light & quick afternoon snack.

Use as decoration on smallgoods or cheese platters.

Go well with

Prosciutto, ham, rock lobster, roasted duck, prawns, cheese and all different kinds of fruit for fruit salad.
