Geoff Jansz Handmade Range

If you don't feel like cooking from scratch, have the night off with Geoff!

We have asked Geoff Jansz to create a very special range of foods for our much loved customers. Everything is made with the freshest high quality ingredients typical of both Geoff's and the Dux's approach. They are restaurant quality products designed to be simply taken home and quickly put together or heated in your own kitchen:

  • Salmon & potato fish cakes - from the deli counter, perfect with a squeeze of lemon, a side salad or vegetables (see below for cooking instructions )
  • Chicken schnitzels - from the deli counter, drizzle with chilli sauce and serve with coleslaw or poatatoes
  • Bolognese or vegetarian lasagnes- from the deli counter, made to Geoff's family recipe
  • Bacon & sweet potato or vegetarian spinach, leek and pumpkin frittatas- from the deli counter, quick, easy and delicious
  • Single serve Pizza Bases - you'll find them in our chilled section, top with fresh prosciutto, bocconcini and rocket and some of Geoff's Moroccan onion marmalade, YUM!.

Roasted Red Capsicum Jam

  • This is a knockout product that is the friend of most Deli items... in particular with all CHEESES, say on a cheese platter, SMALL GOODS in open or grilled sandwiches and with BREADS and CRACKERS as an accompanying DIP.
  • I've used it to GLAZE HAMS as well as a fantastic topping for SMOKED CHICKEN and FISH.
  • It is incredibly versatile. The most common use is with CREAM CHEESE and toast as a canape or snack.
  • My brother even loves it with SCHNITZEL....... WHERE DO YOU STOP?!?

Moroccan Onion Marmalade

  • With a hint of the exotic, this condiment gives life to all SANDWICHES and GRILLED MEATS and FISH.
  • For a really interesting GOURMET PIZZA, simply spread it over the base and top with fetta or mozzarella cheese and cooked lamb.

Apple Balsamic Relish

  • outstanding paired with smallgoods, particularly LEG HAM or SMOKED CHICKEN
  • spread on a sandwich or roll for a LUSCIOUS LIFT
  • never make a ham sandwich without it!

Sweet Asian Chilli

  • Don't be fooled- I pack a PUNCH!
  • a tasty TANGINESS with a little SWEETNESS
  • adds and edge to RICE or NOODLE dishes: use in stir fry or as a condiment to flavour BOILED or FRIED RICE

BBQ Sauce

  • drizzle over a meat lovers PIZZA
  • use as a GLAZE for all ROAST MEATS
  • combine with other sauces to impart a warm DEPTH of flavour

Cooking Instructions:

Salmon fish cakes : pre heat oven to 140 0C. Lay fishcakes in a single layer on an oven tray, heat for 8-12 mins until warmed though

Chicken schnitzels: pre heat oven to 140 0C. Lay in a single layer on oven tray and heat for 5-10 mins until warmed through.

Vegetable or Meat Lasagne : pre heat oven to 140 0C. place lasagne on oven proof tray, cover with foil and warm for 12-15 mins until heated through. Alternatively, place lasagne on a microwave safe plate, cover with plastic wrap and heat on high for 2 mins (depending on microwave power). Take care when lifting plastic wrap.

Vegetable or Meat Frittata : pre heat oven to 140 0C. place frttata on oven proof tray, cover with foil and warm for 10-12 mins until heated through. Alternatively, place frittata on a microwave safe plate, cover with plastic wrap and heat on high for 90 secs(depending on microwave power). Take care when lifting plastic wrap.
